Our Website Care Plan protect your website investment and give you peace of mind knowing your site is updated, backed up, and secured from hackers. We also provide hands-on assistance your ongoing small website tasks, and how-to tips for coordinating your online marketing and social media. Clients on our Care Plan receive priority assistance for new work, fixes, and change requests PLUS discounts on our hourly rate and/or 10% off fixed bid projects.

Website Care Plans
If you would rather not sign up for any maintenance plan, any updates or security fixes will be billed at our currently hourly rate. We do not recommend this option unless you have another developer or are very confident in managing your site updates and backup yourself.
Note that problems caused by an incorrect WordPress software or plugin update or plugin installs done by yourself or another third party may or may not be fixable without doing a complete restore of your website data, and if you are NOT on a Website Care Plan, all work will be charged at a much higher hourly rate to fix your site.
I recommend any client who wants an ongoing and priority support relationship with me to be subscribed to a Website Care Plan. However, if you are not on a plan, if time permits we will take on small one-time help requests. Work for non-Care Plan clients will be billed at a higher rate, and the response time will be slower, within 72 hours on business days instead of 24-36 hours 24/7.
There is no contract, you may cancel at any time – just shoot us an email and let us know. There are no pro-rated refunds for any unused time on a monthly plan or for annual plans prepaid.
These plans are offered on a monthly automatic recurring subscription payment is required if you wish to pay monthly. Payments are charged on the first of the month.
Unfortunately, no. We only cover Genesis framework websites we’ve installed and created or refreshed for you.
No. Nothing can 100% prevent a site hack. Hackers are a crafty, nasty bunch. No matter how tight the security, there is always a chance that they can get in. This is why daily backups and hacker protection to restore your site in case of an attack are critically important.
Not always. Rates vary depending on what your eCommerce shop plugins you are using – please contact us for an estimate. There may be an additional charge to update eCommerce plugins as they often break the CSS of your site and then we need to take time to fix that.
Small tasks include any task that takes us less than 30 minutes to complete and typically covers things like content updates, plugin research and setup, theme or stylesheet changes, embedding third-party scripts, hosting server or DNS changes, configuring contact forms, or general WordPress or Social Media questions and assistance.
